Engraved Labeling Solution
Silver Fox laser engraved labels are made by appying a micro-thin layer of ink colour, protected by a coating, to a plastic base sheet. The base sheet largely controls the physical properties of the finished label. The base and cap, as well as the foils have been tested for flamability by Underwriters Laboratories, and are rated 94 HB on the American UL 94 test. The foil was judged as not contributing to the combustion of the base material.
The rear of the label is covered with a 0.21mm thick self-adhesive polyester film, which is coated on both sides with a heavy mass of a transparent, high performance, high tack modified acrylic adhesive. It has an operating temperature range of -30°c to +150°c and can be applied at as low as +5°c. This gives a wide range of conditions under which the product can be used.
